(1936)

In summer, 1936 Fira again went to the Baltic Sea, to Orlowo. This time she was with her friends from Poznan, Mira Lederowna, Madzia Einstein, Maks Brandt, Mietek Patalowski, Boria Szapiro… The boys joined later, so the girls could have flirted a little with sailors of the SS Gdynia pleasure boat. They climbed deck ladders and had their pictures taken in free poses.

Among the photographs of their stay at the sea there are also some pictures taken in the port of Gdynia. They present two women and a boy. They are standing in front of the MS Batory ship. Who were they? Nobody knows today. Just like we don’t know the people  next to Fira in the following photographs.
